Tense and Desperate
There it was. The holy grail of shoulder bags. The YSL monogram satchel in black leather with interlocking metal Y- S- L signature and the all important 'Gold Tassel'. It was sitting in the window of a charity shop. It was up for grabs on Saturday morning at 9am.
On Saturday at 7:45 am I leave the house and head for the charity shop in the hopes of acquiring the YSL bag at a discount of about a grand and a half. When I get to the shop I find there's one woman in front of me. I telepathically begin telling her that she needs to pee so I can get ahead. It's tense. It's desperate.
'Catherine' held it in. A sea of people came then left, realising that she had already won the bag. She was in the door first and was given the bag. When she opened it, the lining was plastic! I called FAKE!!
Blinded by the gold of her YSL clutch, she failed to notice what prizes lurked in the shadows for me! A Widegate London clutch, A Miu Miu Tote and a two piece Moschino suit! See how I wore my treasures here!
I am the triumphant victor!!!
Catherine, I'll see you for Round 2!
