Kerry Fashion Week

Prep for the big night began about two years ago, at Electric Picnic, I came across my best find yet. I was browsing around the Oxfam tent when I found a beautiful raw silk wedding dress train for only two quid! Delighted with myself, I handed over the dollars and used it as if I was a cheeky Matador at the festival for the next few days. It was surprising how well it washed up!

My beautiful bestie and all round crafter, Aoife Challis agreed to make it into a skirt for me. Sorted! I wore it with a Topshop bodysuit that cost twelve euro and shoes left over from the last event. Jammy enough to have my hair and makeup done from a modelling job earlier on in the day,  I was good to go!

The champagne reception at the Europe Hotel served us well. Chats and giggles on the night came from the lovely Trudy, Judy, Tino and Aaron to name just a few.
